Brief Description

Wouldn't it be nice to team up with some friends and take on 26.2 miles together? The Rockin' Marathon Relay offers the unique opportunity to gather a team to conquer a full marathon, all the while enjoying the fun party atmosphere at the relay exchange zone! Teams of 2 or 4 members alternate relay legs until the full marathon distance is completed on a loop course. One team member is out running hard on the course while the rest of the team is having a good time at the relay exchange zone.

The Course

The course is mostly on the McGrathiana Parkway circle with a segment that turns toward Coldstream Park. The loop measures a 1.46 mile loop. Relay teams will complete a full 17 laps and 1 partial lap. The first leg of the relay is just short of a full loop to get the full 26.2 miles. Check the event website for how the legs are split up for an example 4 Person Team.

Additional Information

7:15am – Race-Day Registration and Packet Pick-Up; 8:30am – Registration and Packet Pick-Up Closes; 9:00am – Race Start; 2:30pm - Course Closes. Awards for the top 2 relay teams in the following divisions: 2 and 4 Person Team Male; 2 and 4 Person Team Female; 2 and 4 Person Team Coed (must be 2 male and 2 female); 4 Person Team Masters (combined 160 years); 4 Person Team Grand Masters (combined 200 years); 4 Person Team Clydesdale (combined weight 760 pounds).
