Brief Description

Compassion International is an organization that supports and helps find sponsors for underprivileged children. To help support the worthwhile efforts of this organization, we are having a one mile Fun Run/Walk and a 5K run/walk, which is scheduled for Saturday, October 29. The one mile Fun Run/Walk will begin at 8:00 A.M. and the 5K will begin at 9:00 A.M. at Legacy Trail near the YMCA parking lot.

First Place for 5K

Embassy Suites Gift Certificate for a complimentary overnight stay in a two room suite, which includes Breakfast and Manager's Reception and indoor pool. (If a minor wins first place, we ask that his/her parent or guardian accept the award.)

Second Place for 5K

Additional Information

All levels of fitness are encouraged to participate. We will allow strollers for the one mile fun walk/run. However, strollers will not be allowed during the 5K. Also, no dogs allowed during either race. Thank you! Please show up 30 minutes prior to your start time to receive your participant packet including your bib number.
