The Kelly J. Fritchman Swimming Scholarship. Kelly was 32 when she passed away from complications due to cystic fibrosis. She swam competitively on UD's swim team during her 4 years there as a student. The swimming student-athlete would display characteristics such as courage, spirit, determination, strength, competitiveness and inspiration.
Course:
New USATF certified by Doug White. Fast, flat, scenic. Starting and finishing at Irish Eyes.
Amenities:
Tee shirts and post race party featuring beer and refreshments. Party Time!
Awards:
Overall male and female winners plus top 3 in ten year age groups 9 under though 70+
Top 3 male and female walkers. (Note: awards based on gun time).
