Brief Description

Thanksgiving Point’s 3rd annual Half Marathon, 5K, and Kids 1-mile run benefits the recently announced Museum of Natural Curiosity.
As a nonprofit 501(c)(3), Thanksgiving Point will use 100% of the race proceeds to benefit it's Museum of Natural Curiosity project. The new museum will offer spaces for families to explore the world through play in a fun and educational environment. Five exhibit areas will cover topics ranging from science and art to the environment and world cultures.

Registration Cost

Half Marathon:
$45 until January 31st, $55 from February 1st-February 29th
$65 from March 1st-March 31st

Late registration (if available)
$75 from April 1st-April 14th

5k:
$25 through Februaury 29th
$30 from March 1st - March 31st

Late registration (if available)
$35 April 1st-April 14th

1 Mile Kids Run:
$15 if registered by March 31st,
$20 from April 1st-April 14th

Active.com charges a $5 processing fee in addition to the registration fee. Sorry for the inconvenience .

Refunds

Entry fees are non-refundable. Additionally, the sale and/or transfer of race entry/bib is strictly prohibited and will result in the disqualification and/or banning of any individuals involved from future Thanksgiving Point race events. For special cases, Thanksgiving Point will allow participants to defer their registration to the following year. All requests must be submitted in writing prior to a deadline of March 31st. No deferment requests will be honored after the deadline.

Thanksgiving Point Membership

Thanksgiving Point’s Family Membership provides your entire family with access to visit any of Thanksgiving Point’s venues as often as you like for a year. All venues are included in a Family membership, such as Farm Country, The Gardens, and the Museum of Ancient life, which is one of the largest dinosaur museums in the world. Other benefits include a 50% discount for friends who visit Thanksgiving Point with you and a 10%discount at any of our restaurants, retail shops and classes.

Packet Pick-up

Half Marathon, 5K, & Kids Fun Run Packet Pick-up will be Friday, April 27 at Thanksgiving Point.

Restrictions

Regrettably, due to the nature of the hills and narrow pathways of the Thanksgiving Point Half Marathon, no wheelchairs, hand-cycles, strollers, inline skates, bicycles, or other wheeled conveyances will be allowed.
