LAWS announces the 2009 Volkswagen Group of America Run for the Shelter, which is also presented by the National Capital Builders Network. This year marks the 14th anniversary of the race as well as the 24th anniversary of Loudoun Abused Women's Shelter and its service to our community. Proceeds from the race go directly to LAWS. This is an excellent cause, so we are asking our runners to help raise additional funds by getting familiy and friends to donate through ActiveGiving.
All participants get a technical shirt. This year for the third time we will have a kid's fun run for 10 and Under that will start at 9:00 am. So bring your kids, it will be fun, and we will have t-shirts in kid's sizes. This years entertainment will be provided by Jimmy Z Productions.
