Brief Description
A stunningly beautiful course beginning and ending and the US Fish Hatchery Complex on Icicle Road (near the Sleeping Lady Resort). Runners will run a loop up the Icicle Canyon and then back into the Bavarian Village of Leavenworth through wooded riverfront trails. Surrounded by impressive mountains, you'll likely see salmon spawning in the Wenatchee River and Icicle Creek.
Marathon, Half-Marathon and Relay Options Available. Come in costume!
5th Anniversary!
To celebrate our 5th Anniversary we are offering hooded marathon sweatshirts to participants. Sweatshirts are only guaranteed to participants registering before September 22nd. IF YOU DO NOT REGISTER BEFORE SEPTEMBER 22ND YOU WILL NOT GET A SWEATSHIRT.

Oktoberfest is Leavenworth’s biggest festival of the year with 2 weeks of music, parades, food (and of course, beverages) and activities for children and adults. A great race will only be part of your unique experience on race weekend!
The Leavenworth Oktoberfest Marathon donates all net proceeds to the Vascular Biology Lab at Children’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts aka “Angiogenesis Research Program.” By donating directly to the lab, we hope to produce for our sponsors, volunteers, supporters and participants direct evidence of where the dollars from the race go to help find a cure.
