Brief Description

The Leander Lion 5K Fun Run and 1K Cub Run is on the Leander High School campus. The proceeds are used to support the Leander High School Student Athletic Trainer program. The race will consist of a 5K closed course run starting and ending at AC Bible Memorial Stadium. Participants will run around the high school campus. The 1K Cub Run will start and end in the same area before the 5K race and will run along similar portions of the 5K course.

Friday 4/27/12 - Packet Pick-Up/Registration at Rogue Running Cedar Park 3pm-7pm Saturday 4/28/12 - 7:00am - Gates open to AC Bible 7:00am -7:45am - Packet Pick-Up/Registration 7:45am - National Anthem 8:00am - 1K Cub Run Start 8:20am - Pre-Race Instructions 8:30am - 5K Fun Run Start 9:30am - Awards Ceremony

Parking Directions

All trafiic will enter and exit via the Bagdad entrance. The Lakeline entrance into the Leander High School campus will be closed for the duration of the race.

Additional Information

Awards are given to the Top finishers of each gender and Top Finisher in each age group immediately following the 5K Run. All kids (Under 12) in the 1K Run will be awarded a medal at the finish line. Ages Groups will as follows: 1K Run (Under 12) 5K Fun Run (12 & Under 13-18,19-29,30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 & 70+). The gates to AC Bible Memorial Stadium will open at 7:00am.
