Brief Description

We are a USATF certified 5K course and will be a 2013 Peachtree Road Race Qualifier. Come join us for the 3rd Annual "A Run to Remember". At 8:00 am we will have a time to reflect on 9/11/01 with a moment of silence. The police escorted course will be run on paved streets through Lawrenceville. Tshirts to all participants that pre-register. Pre-registered runners can pick up their numbers and shirts on Thursday (9/6) and Friday (9/7) at the 300 Jackson Street LPD Headquarters from 6pm-8pm.

Course Map

Starting line directly in front of the Lawrenceville Police Department on Jackson Street, traveling on Jackson Street, Left on W Pike Street, Left on Langley Drive, Left on Consitution Blvd, Right on Culver Street, Left on Nash Street, Left on S. Clayton Street, Left on Lucky, Right on Perry, Right on Crogan Street, Right on Jackson Street, Right on Scenic Hwy, Arrive at Finish Line at rear entrance to Police Department. Awards will be given out in the back parking lot.

Additional Information

Age Groups: 7 and under, 8-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and older. Awards to: Overall 1st place male & female runners, Top Masters male & female, Top three places in each age group Top Cop, Top Fire Fighter, Top Explorer, and a Special Teams award. We also have a "Most Patriotic" dressed runnner or walker. The "Chief's Award" is given to the group, church, school, business with the most participants. Overall winners are not eligible for age group awards. Runner times will be calculated electronically.
