Direction to Start

From Las Vegas, I-95 North to Highway 156 (Lee Canyon Road), then West almost to the top. There are two trailheads: Upper at the end of the road, past the ski area -- and Lower, a large unmarked gravel pull-off 100 ft. before the McWilliams Campground entrance. Start/Finish for this event is at the Lower Trail Head.

Additional Information

All entrants will receive a Forest Challenge sweatshirt and all finishers will be awarded a personalized plaque recording their achievement, with the name plates mailed out after the event. There will be 16 age divisions based mainly on the standard five-year breakdown. Water and refreshments available on the course and at the finish. Runners competing in the LVTC 2010 Championship Series need to enter/run either the 6-mile or 11-mile option. Packet pickup from 12Noon to 6PM on Friday 9/16, the day before the event, at Athlete's Foot, 4712 W. Sahara Avenue, Las Vegas (Tel: 702-565-5500). All Day-of-Race Registrations $40.
