Brief Description

This is an event for "the rest of us." The more you weigh the greater your chances for winning! Adjusted time is based on 5K time minus your weight. There is a "Team Division", teams with a minimum weight of 650 lbs - no limit on number of runners - will add their times. Lowest combined times win.

Additional Information

Individual awards in nine age categories and two divisions (male and female) for 5K runners. Age Categories: U-10 10-19 20-29 30-39 40-49 50-59 60-60 70-79 80+ Total time is based on time minus runner's weight (one pound per second). For example, time of 25:30 for a 150 pound runner = adjusted time of 23:00. Runners weigh in (fully clothed) at packet pick up or day-of-race (starting at 7 a.m.) Fat Boy 5K t-shirts to first 200 entries. Custom Fat Boy 5K race bibs to all entrants. Packet pick up and registration on Friday at Red Rock Running Co. from Noon to 6 p.m. or at race site from 7-7:45. Check web site (www.lvtc.org) for details. Online entries close 11:59 p.m., 2/19 All finishers will receive donuts, sausages, and an "adult beverage" (soda for kids)! All day-of-race entries $35. All net proceeds to Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Nevada.
