Brief Description

The Capitol Mile/5K is a fun and healthy event for the entire family. This year, we are running along the Lansing River Trail! We’ll start off the evening with the kids’ races, followed by the four mile events and the 5K run and walk. The mile event is a great beginner's race. If you are just getting into running and not quite ready for a 5K, then come and join us for the mile!

Additional Information

The mile event is part of the Playmakers Race Series. You get two races for the price of one! If you are interested in participating in the mile and 5K, the registration costs the same for both events. This year, we are offering special anniversary pricing through May 31! When you sign up before May 31, the price is ONLY $10 for both events! This event has generated more than $570,000 for local nonprofits since 2004. Our commitment to the local community will continue in 2013 to assist more nonprofit organizations.
