Brief Description

"Lansing for Haiti" is a group of Lansing area churches and businesses who have partnered with the communities of Leogane and Cite' Soleil, Haiti, two of the poorest and hardest hit areas of the Jan. 12th, 2010 earthquake. Our annual 5K commemorates the earthquake's anniversary. Proceeds provide Agri-Business microloans which are small loans lent to farmers, helping them to grow their farming business and escape extreme poverty. Our project is facilitated by the non-profit agency World Relief.
