Brief Description

Join us on May 9 as we celebrate Mother's Day with the Mother's Day 5k and One Mile Fun Run/Walk. The race starts and finishes at the picturesque National Conference Center in Lansdowne, VA. Bring your family for a great event to honor Moms. Each mom finishing the race will be given a flower. The race will benefit various the charity Suited for Change. http://www.suitedforchange.org. Suited for Change is designed to help low income women gain careers skills to gain entry into the workforce.

Additional Information

All preregistered runners will be given a commemorative technical short sleeve t-shirt. Food and prizes following the race. There will be awards to the top 3 overall males and females and to the top 3 males and females in age categories: 14&under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75&over.
