Brief Description

The Lander Half Marathon follows a beautiful rolling loop course on paved country roads in the scenic foothills of the Wind River Mountains. The race begins and ends at Centennial Park in the 200 block of Main Street in Lander. The 5-k race begins and ends at Centennial Park. For maps and more info check www.landercommunityfoundation.org

Celebrate Community and Philanthropy

Run, walk and/or donate to the Lander Challenge for Charities - every donation is matched! The Challenge for Charities supports Lander's non-profit community providing vital resources to over 26 local non-profits.

Race bib and timing chips

Race bib and computer timing chip will be distributed the morning of the race, from 5:15am to various race starts. The timing chip must be handed in at the finish line. A $35 fee will be charged for unreturned chips.

Packet Pick-ups

Pre-registered racers will receive registration packet and t- shirt. Please pick-up packets at Wild Iris Mountain Sports 333 Main St on 7/3 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Or racers can pick up registration packets on race day at the start, Centennial Park, 200 block Main Street beginning at 5:15 a.m.

New Event - Family Fun!

Jump rope competition for ages 5 - 10. Register @ Lander Parks & Rec.

Additional Information

Race day registration begins at 5:15am for the 1/2 Marathon and 6:45 for the 5k Challenge. On the Half Marathon route, water will be available at approximately 4, 6.5, 8.5 and 11 miles. A portable toilet will be available at mile 6.
