Additional Information

This is our 2nd Annual Purple Ribbon 5K Run/walk . We will have a raffle and merchandise booth.Heather's Hope Foundation was created in April of 2009 in memory of Heather Lynn Hatley/Rimmer as a result of her death due to domestic violence. Our foundation strives to raise awareness of domestic violence and the monies raised from our race will help to support our local women's shelter and also this year to partner with Heartland for Children in order to sponsor programs in our local high schools to educate our teens about the dangers of teen dating abuse which many times leads to domestic violence. In addition, we will be presenting scholarships to deserving students.
