Brief Description

Dates: Thursday, August 11 through Sunday, August 14, 2010. A fun and challenging four-day running event: 10K, 11K, 10 mile, and 5K, all 4 days = a marathon. Run one day or all four days, or any combination that fits into your schedule. Start times 7:00 A.M. Opening ceremonies Wednesday evening, August 10. Awards ceremonies Sunday August 14, after the race.

Additional Information

Thursday 10k, Friday 11k, Saturday 10 mile(free 1 mile kids race, 14 and under.) Saturday also features a 5k walker, jogger and stroller event. Sunday 5k and awards ceremonies. The Thin Air Distance Festival is a four day staged running race, with it's location in majestic and beautiful South Lake Tahoe, will be an Incredible event that will be quickly heard around the world. From the serious to the casual competitor, it will offer a different way to test one's fitness and abilities. Racers will be given a choice to compete Individually or on a Team. Once you have experienced this new challenge and adventure, you will be coming back to the Thin Air Distance Festival Racing Event year after year.
