Brief Description

Come visit the gateway to the Adirondacks to compete in and around beautiful Lake George in our 5th annual Olympic distance event. Swim 0.9miles in the clear waters of Lake George, then ride through parts of Queensbury and along Lake George on a 24.8mile bike course that has rolling hills, fast descents and 2 good climbs... Finish with a challenging 6.2mile run, then relax, enjoy the view, eat some food and cheer on your fellow triathletes as they come across the line.

Cash Prizes for Individuals (1st/2nd/3rd), Overall Male/Female Masters and Overall Male/Female/Mixed Team. USAT membership If you are 18 or older and not a member of USA Triathlon (and do not plan on becoming a member by raceday), you must purchase a one-day membership for $10. The one-day membership fee is non-refundable, but may be used toward the future purchase of an annual license. IMPORTANT NOTE FOR YOUTH: If you are 17 years old or younger, you MUST be an annual member of USAT to compete. Annual youth memberships cost $5, are valid for one year, and are available from USAT's website.

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required. USA Triathlon provides rules, guidance and governance to set the standard for safe and fair multi-sport races.
