Description
The Norris Dam Challenge 12K is part of the Tennessee State Parks Running tour. The Norris Dam 12K represents one of the more demanding races in the series. The race has a scenic and challenging out and back course with the start/finish at the park headquarters of Norris Dam State park. Runners will descend approx 350 feet in elevation to the dam, cross the dam, circle up through the cabin area and back the same way. Afterwards, enjoy some hot chili and be sure to vote for your favorite recipe. Chili competition is open to all runners, volunteers, spouses, etc. Bring a crockpot and we will plug it in.
