Brief Description

On Saturday morning, it's “Runners to your mark!” for the Walt Disney World® Half Marathon presented by Cigna. Whether you're a first timer or veteran, this race is perfect for you. The 13.1-mile course will lead you through Magic Kingdom® Park on your way to a thrilling finish at Epcot®. Don't miss this exciting race at the Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend!

Registration Information

**Dates, times and prices subject to change. All races are subject to capacity limits and may close at anytime.**

There will be no race day registration.

If you are running on behalf of a charitable organization (i.e. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, etc.), or are traveling with a contracted tour operator/travel partner, please contact the charity, tour operator or travel partner for specific registration instructions.

    Participants must attend Disney's Health & Fitness Expo to receive their bib and tech shirt. Finisher medals will be distributed to finishers at the conclusion of the race. None of these items will be mailed to registrants that did not participate.

    Eligibility

    To compete in the Walt Disney World® Half Marathon you must be 14 years of age of older.

    Pacing Requirements

    All athletes entering the Half Marathon must maintain a 16-minute per mile pace or faster throughout the entire race. Anyone not able to maintain a 16-minute per mile pace may be picked up and transported to the finish. You may be picked up at any point along the course for not maintaining a 16-minute per mile pace.

    We suggest you train for a 15-minute per mile pace or faster to allow time for breaks (restroom breaks, photo opportunities, etc.).

    Proof of Time

    If you believe you will finish the Half Marathon in less than 2 hours and 45 minutes, proof of time is required for start corral placement.

    Acceptable Proof of Time

    Proof of time should include name of race, year, distance and time finished (i.e. 2012 Walt Disney World® Half Marathon - 1:44). If you do not have a proof of time to submit, list N/A at the point of registration. Proof of time must be provided from a race 10K or longer. All forms of proof of time must be from a race after July 1, 2010. If you do not provide proof of time you will be placed in the last start corral.

    Packet Pick-Up Location & Times

    Participants must attend Disney's Health & Fitness Expo and sign a waiver in order to receive your bib, tech shirt and timing device.

    Registration fees are non-refundable.

    Safety Reminder

    For the safety of yourself and the other participants, baby joggers, strollers, baby carriers, baby backpacks, inline skates, motorized scooters, bicycles, skateboards, canes, crutches, walkers, walking sticks and animals of any kind are prohibited from the course. If you are seen in violation of one of these you will be removed from the course and transported to the finish. Headphones are discouraged due to audio messages that are placed throughout the course to ensure your safety.

    2013 Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend Commemorative Items can be purchased during registration.

    Commemorative Pin:
    $13.86 per pin (price includes tax), Limit 2 per registration.

    *Items will ONLY be distributed at Packet Pick-Up. Items not picked up at Packet Pick-Up will not be mailed and will not be refunded. Quantities are limitied.
