Brief Description

If you think that a marathon is just a walk in the park, put your endurance to the test and compete in Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge! A 39.3-mile adventure held over two days, participants will run the Half Marathon on Saturday, followed by the Marathon on Sunday. If you finish both races within the pacing requirements, you will be awarded the coveted Goofy medal in addition to your Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse finisher medals.

Registration Information

**Dates, times and prices subject to change. All races are subject to capacity limits and may close at anytime.**

There will be no race day registration.

Individuals may not register to compete in both the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Marathon Relay and the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Marathon (including Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge) simultaneously. The events are designed as two separate races and will be conducted as such.

Charity Groups/Travel Partners

If you are running on behalf of a charitable organization (i.e. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, etc.), or are traveling with a contracted tour operator/travel partner, please contact the charity or tour operator for specific registration instructions.

    • Eligibility

    To compete in the Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge you must be 18 years of age or older.

    Pacing Requirements

    All athletes entering the Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge must maintain a 16-minute per mile pace or faster throughout the entire race. Anyone not able to maintain a 16-minute per mile pace may be picked up and transported to the finish. You may be picked up at any point along the course for not maintaining a 16-minute per mile pace.

    We suggest you train for a 15-minute per mile pace or faster to allow time for breaks (restroom breaks, photo opportunities, etc.).

    Proof of Time

    If you believe you will finish the Marathon in 5 hours or less, proof of time is required.

    Acceptable Proof of Time

    Proof of time should include name of race, year, distance and time finished (i.e. 2011 Walt Disney World® Marathon - 3:35). If you do not have a proof of time to submit, list N/A at the point of registration. Proof of time must be provided from a race 10K or longer. All forms of proof of time must be from a race after July 1, 2009. If you do not provide proof of time you will be placed in the last start corral.

    Packet Pick-Up

    All runners must attend Disney's Health & Fitness Expo for race number and Packet Pick-Up at the Jostens® Center at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

    Cancellation Policy

    Entry fees for Marathon Weekend events are non-refundable.

    Safety Reminder

    For the safety of yourself and the other participants, baby joggers, strollers, baby carriers, baby backpacks, inline skates, motorized scooters, bicycles, skateboards, canes, crutches, walkers, walking sticks and animals of any kind are prohibited from the course. If you are seen in violation of one of these you will be removed from the course and transported to the finish. Headphones are discouraged due to audio messages that are placed throughout the course to ensure your safety.

    Commemorative Pins are available for purchase during registration for the following events:

    $12.79 per pin (price includes tax), Limit 2 pins per event, per registration.

    *Pins will ONLY be distributed at Packet Pick-Up. Pins not picked up at Packet Pick-Up will not be mailed and will not be refunded. Quantities are limited.
