Deferral Registration


This is a deferred registration link for the 2012 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Relay. This event is not currently open for public registration. You are being allowed to pre-register for the 2012 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Realy as a deferral from another runDisney race. Once you complete this registration form and pay the appropriate fees, you will be guaranteed a spot in the 2012 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Relay.

Please Note

You may not pre-register for the 2012 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Relay through deferral if the 2012 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Relay is more than (1) one year from your original race. Registration fees are non-refundable.

Deferral Registration Price

Your pre-registration for this event constitutes a full registration and you are required to pay the current registration price along with any processing fees. The current registration price of the event is a preliminary price and may increase when the permanent 2012 registration price for the 2012 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Relay is set and becomes available to the public.

Deferral Payment

By pre-registering for this race through this link you hereby agree that we will be able to charge your credit card for any increased final registration fee up to a maximum total increase of twenty dollars ($20.00).

Original Registraton Fees

Once you have pre-registered for the 2012 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Relay through your deferral, you will have 2 weeks to submit the required deferral paperwork to have your original race registration refunded, minus a thirty-five dollar ($35.00) deferral fee, or your original race registration fees will not be refunded.


Registration Information

**Dates, times and prices subject to change. All races are subject to capacity limits and may close at anytime.**

There will be no race day registration.


If you are running on behalf of a charitable organization (i.e. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, etc.), or are traveling with a contracted tour operator/travel partner, please contact the charity or tour operator for specific registration instructions.

Eligibility

To compete in the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon, you must be 14 years of age or older.

Pacing Requirements

All athletes entering the Half Marathon must maintain a 16-minute per mile pace or faster throughout the entire race. Anyone not able to maintain a 16-minute per mile pace may be picked up and transported to the finish. You may be picked up at any point along the course for not maintaining a 16-minute per mile pace.

We suggest you train for a 15-minute per mile pace or faster to allow time for breaks (restroom breaks, photo opportunities, etc.).

Proof of Time

If you believe you and your teammate will finish the Half Marathon in less than 2 hours and 45 minutes, proof of time is required for one runner at the point of registration for start corral placement.

Acceptable Proof of Time

Proof of time should include name of race, year, distance and time finished (i.e. 2010 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon - 2:25). If you do not have a proof of time to submit, list N/A at the point of registration. Proof of time must be provided from a race 10K or longer. All forms of proof of time must be from a race after July 1, 2009. If you do not provide proof of time you will be placed in the last start corral.

Cancellation & Transfer Policy

Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Safety Reminder

For the safety of yourself and the other participants, baby joggers, strollers, baby carriers, baby backpacks, inline skates, motorized scooters, bicycles, skateboards, canes, crutches, walkers, walking sticks and animals of any kind are prohibited from the course. If you are seen in violation of one of these you will be removed from the course and transported to the finish. Headphones are discouraged due to audio messages that are placed throughout the course to ensure your safety.
