Event Details: This event will feature a Reverse Sprint triathlon and 5K, 10K & 1 Kids running events.

Reverse Sprint Triathlon - This USA Triathlon sanctioned event is a Reverse Sprint distance triathlon consisting of a 5k run, 17k bike ride and 150 meter swim.

• The run portion of the Laguna Niguel Triathlon is a 5K and will start and end on the soccer field of Crown Valley Community Park. The run course utilizes the recreational trails within the Crown Valley Community Park and Laguna Niguel Regional Park.

• The bike portion is a 17 kilometers on the streets of Laguna Niguel. Athletes must complete two laps of this 8.5K route

• The swim portion will take place in the pool at the Crown Valley Community Park.

Runners of all capabilities will enjoy the 5K, 10K or 1K Kids Run. Runners will start at the same time as Triathletes and use the same course.

Event schedule and times

Event date/time: Sunday, February 17th, 2013. The race will start at 7:00am. Athlete Packet Pickup & Fitness Expo will take place at the Crown Valley Community Park.

Pre-Race Fitness Expo & Athlete Packet Pickup: Saturday, February 16th, 2013 from 9AM 4PM

• Location: Crown Valley Community Park, 29751 Crown Valley Parkway, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677. 10x10 and 10x20 expo spaces are available.
