DATE, TIME AND PLACE
Thursday Evening, June 11, 2009, 7 pm. 1 Mile Competitive Road Race and Fun Walk start on the section of I-40 that is currently closed. MANDATORY packet pick-up at the Civic Coslieum parking garage from 5 pm until 6:30 pm on race day. There will be no on-site packet pick-up. Parking is available at the Civic Coliseum parking garage. Shuttles will be provided to transport participants to and from event. Participants must wear their bib number to board shuttles. Participants MUST wear their bib number to enter race site.
COURSE DESCRIPTION NEW COURSE
Out and back one mile road race on I-40. Slight uphill for the first half and downhill to finish.
This is a USATF certified course.
EXPECTED PARTICIPATION
1000 total participants.
REGISTRATION & ENTRY FEE EARLY:
Deadline is Friday, June 5, 2009 for all mail in entries and early registration price.
FEES
Fee is $15.00 for all ages for the Competitive Road Race and $5.00 for the Fun Walk for ages 11 and up. There is no cost for children 10 and under participating in the Fun Walk.
LATE REGISTRATION: Saturday - June 6 to race day - late fee ($20) in effect for the Competitive Road Race. Cost fo rthe Fun Walk is $10 for ages 11 and up and there is no cost for children 10 and under.
DAY OF RACE: Thursday, June 11, 2009 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. ($20). Limited Race Day Registration and there is a possibility that there will be a cap on the event.

First quality commemorative short sleeve shirts to all runners and walkers.
PACKET PICK-UP
Thursday, June 11 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Civic Coliseum parking garage. MANDATORY PICK-UP AT THE COLISEUM-THERE WILL BE NO PICK-UP AVAILABLE AT THE RACE SITE. You may pick up for friends and family.
AWARDS
To the top three overall, 1st Masters (40+), 1st Grandmasters (50+), 1st Veterans (60+) male
and female. Other awards three deep in the following categories: 1-14, 15-19,
20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-79. 80+. Overall winners are not eligible for age division awards. Age division
awards must be picked up on raceday; they will not be mailed.
REFRESHMENTS AND CELEBRATION
Post Race celebration includes light refreshments.
