Brief Description

8:00am. Fleet Feet Sports presents the "Chase the Turkey" 5k race and family walk, hosted by Meadowview Conference and Convention Center. This friendly 5k begins at Meadowview Resort Center and runs along the Meadowview Parkway and then continues along the cartpaths of the beautiful and serene Cattails Golf Course. The State of Franklin Track Club is chip timing this event. Make this a Tradition! Only those registered by Nov. 16 are guaranteed a shirt.

In-Store Registration and Race Day Registration

Even though online registration is closed, you can still come into Fleet Feet Sports and register for the race. You will also be able to register race day at the race site up until 7:20am. Thanks.

Packet Pickup

Packet Pickup will be Wednesday, Nov. 21 at Fleet Feet Sports from 11-7 or the day of the race starting at 6:45am

OPERATION SOLE PROVIDER

Fleet Feet Sports has set a very lofty goal of collecting 1000 pair of clean, next to new running/hiking shoes to be distributed in our area for those less priviledged people and students who are in need of shoes. Please bring these to the Chase the Turkey 5k the morning of the race. Also, please have them clean and tied/rubber bound together with the size/gender visible. Help us to make this a success!!

THE COURSE

The course starts at the lower entrance of the Mariott Hotel, circles around the parking lot, and turns right and runs out the parkway. It makes a U-turn at the red light and comes back toward the hotel. Runners/walkers will then turn right and exit onto the "front nine" cartpaths of the golf course. Absolutely beautiful and peaceful surroundings with Bays Mountain Park in the background. Finish is near the flags in the parking lot.
