Packet Pick-Up will be located at Sports Authority (8364 S. Dixie Hwy Miami, FL 33143) during the following times: -Wednesday, April 18th 10 AM - 6 PM -Thursday, April 19th 10 AM - 6 PM -Friday, April 20th 10 AM - 4 PM
Race Day Packet Pick-Up will be from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM at Bill Baggs State Park, Key Biscayne.
The start and finish will be near the base of the Key Biscayne Lighthouse in Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park.
Tech T's will be provided to the first 1000 registered participants.
Go to the end of Crandon Boulevard and proceed through the gates to the south end of the park. You will be directed to the designated parking areas. Park fees will be waived for particpants, and you may spend the day as long as you don't leave the park. NOTE: Cars will not be able to leave the park until the the park exit road is cleared of runners. (Approx. 8:30 AM)
Top 3 overall. Top 3 in each of the following age groups: 10 & under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70 & over.
Top 3 male and top 3 female CPAs.
Awarded to the corporation with the most entries by end of day April 20 (no race day applications will count towards this award).
Net proceeds for the event are awarded in the form of (3) $3,000 scholarships to South Florida African American accounting students in memory of Lewis Davis, Miami-Dade County's first African American CPA
Runners/walkers receive exclusive opportunity to purchase an unlimited number of $20 raffle tickets to register to win a 3 day/2night resort package along with many other exciting prizes! All raffle-tickets are placed in race packets. The winning ticket is selected during the 1040K Post Race Festivities on April 21.
Runners/walkers 21 and over receive free beer after the race in our post race beer garden sponsored by Heineken. Other food/beverages/sport drinks provided too.
