Brief Description

At a young age, Melissa Fortener McLaughlin lost her fight with breast cancer, but never lost her courageous, admirable spirit. Come celebrate Melissa’s memory and legacy by participating in the first annual “Be Positive, It’s Not Just My Blood Type” 5K Run/Walk at the Kettering Civic Center at 8:00am on April 13th, 2013. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Melissa Fortener McLaughlin Scholarship Fund, which a senior athlete is awarded every year at Fairmont High School.

Hosted by: Friends of Kettering Fairmont Softball Adults- $25 (Late Registration- $30) Children (under 12)- $15 (Late Registration- $20) Check In is at 7:00am Late Registration begins April 6th Rain or Shine Participants will receive a t-shirt and awards for placing in their age/gender group
