Brief Description

We hope you'll join us for our 4th Annual Race For Reading 5K and Fun Run. All participants and spectators are invited to come dressed as their favorite literary character! Once again, all proceeds go to purchase literacy materials for our classrooms and Media Center. Thank you for your past support!

Awards

Children Fun Run Participants receive finisher's medal. All 5K participants receive event tshirt and are eligible for awards (overall M/F Top 3 and top 3 finishers for each M/F Age Group). Children 14 and under who participate in the 5K also receive a Finisher's Medal

Event Tshirts

Event tshirts for 5K participants only. Late registrants may not receive event tshirt on race day.

Race Day Schedule

On-Site Late Registration from 8 to 8:30 am, Crocodile Mile Fun Run at 8:30 am, 5K at 9:00 am, Awards Ceremony & Door Prize Drawing 10:00 am

Special Pricing for CCES and WSFC Participants

Caleb's Creek Elementary School students and WSFCS staff/students have special pricing for the 5K. Please register in the appropriate category to receive this special pricing.

Additional Information

Awards given for overall top 3 Male and Female Finishers. Additional awards given for top 3 male and female finishers in each age group category, beginning wtih 9 and under and then in 5-year age group categories. Event tshirts given for 5K participants only. All children 14 and under who participate in either the 5K or the Mile Fun Run will receive a Finisher's Medal.
