COURSE & CATEGORIES
The Mud Run is a challenging but fun 5K run with hills, obstacles, walls, mud slide, tunnel crawls, slippery hill climbs, and oodles of mud pits. Race individually, within multiple age divisions, or as a member of a 4-person team. We also invite people who would rather walk the course. The Grand Rapids Mud Run offers a family friendly atmosphere. There is a Kids Mini Mud Run for kids 12 & under for just $10.
RULES & START TIME
9:00pm Start for individuals. The course and all obstacles must be successfully completed to qualify for prizes. There will be a staggered start time for teams. Teams are 4 participants. All team members must cross the finish line together for the team to qualify for prizes. Sorry, there are no race refunds and race numbers are non-transferable - only you can wear your race number. There is no race day registration. Sorry, no dogs, baby strollers or baby joggers on the course. However, all are allowed at the race site. No drugs or alcohol allowed at event. Anyone found under the influence will not be allowed to participate and will forfeit all race fees.
REGISTRATION
All registration is done fast, easy, and securely online. Don't wait! The first 500 will receive a free Grand Rapids Mud Run t-shirt!
All team members must register together. Sorry there are no refunds, and the race numbers are non-transferable. Early registration is $25 until August 7th. After August 7th, registration is $28.
AWARDS & FESTIVITIES
Awards given to the top competitors. The first 500 registered racers will receive a mudders commemorative t-shirt. Music, plenty of food, and drinks will be available at the festival for purchase. Cleaning area and place for changing clothes will be provided after the race.
DIRECTIONS & PARKING
The Grand Rapids Mud Run is located on the grounds of Kentwood Community Church at 1200 60th St. SE, Kentwood, MI 49508. There will be ample parking on site and a nearby overflow area within walking distance. Parking is free.
