The 2012 Georgia Symphony Orchestra evening of
run and fun will be attracting both the serious competitive racer and the occasional runner/walker to Kennesaw and will provide an opportunity for participants of all ages in the community to help support the Georgia Symphony Orchestra and the Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra and Chorus.
Event Name: GSO Noteworthy Race Figaro 5K / Mozart Mile / ?Tot’ kovsky Trot
Location: Race starts and finishes at Building Four Barrett Lakes Office Park (off Greers Chapel Rd.) Kennesaw, GA
Main Events: Live GSO music along the course and at the "formal" post race party.
Activities: Computerized race results. Awards for overall male and female winners and overall male and female Master’s winners. Awards ceremony for all division winners in 5K. Awards in all age groups.
Other Activities: After race party with hor d’oeuvres, beverages, music, awards
presentation, door prizes.
Purpose: To provide a quality, fun athletic event, as well as to raise awareness of and funds for the Georgia Symphony Orchestra and the Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra and Chorus.
T-Shirts: Noteworthy T-Shirts given to all participants (we're planning on a shirt so unique we doubt you have one like it!).
