Brief Description

A portion of the proceeds go to Kansas City, Missouri Parks & Rec and The Safety & Health Council of Western MO & KS to support their safety programs for kids and teens.

5K Run/Walk

Runners and walkers are invited to join us for the Inaugural "Run for the Roses 5K" in beautiful Swope Park.

T-shirts

All participants will receive a Commemorative Race Tee Shirt with their entry fee. Sizing guarenteed for those who sign up by May 7th, others will be first come, first served at packet pick up. Shirts are not guarenteed to those who enter after May 7th.

Early Packet Pickup & Registration, May 28th

The Sports Medicine Store/Metro Walk & Run, 7301 W. 95th Street, Overland Park, KS 66212. 4-7 PM

Race Day Packet Pickup, May 29th

Swope Park, just inside the Main Entrance at Meyer Blvd & Swope Parkway, 7-8 AM.

Awards

Awards will be given to the top male and female finisher in the following age categories: 12 & under 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 & over.
