Brief Description

The Pilgrim 5K Run/Walk and Children's Dash will be held on Thanksgiving morning. The course is in beautiful, historic Hyde Park in Mid-town Kansas City, MO. This is the second year for the Pilgrim Run.

On-Line Registration

On-line registration will close at 11:59 PM CST on Tuesday, November 20, 2011

Individual Entry Fee for 5K Run or Walk

$25 through November 9, $30 November 10-20, $35 at Packet Pickup on Wed, November 21 and on Race Day

In-person Registration

Applicants can register during packet pickup at the Pilgrim Chapel Wednesday, November 21, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM and Thursday, November 22 from 7:30 to 8:45 AM.

Mail-In Registration

Mail in forms can be found on the back of the Pilgrim Run 5K Run/Walk rack card and at www.pilgrimrun.org.

Team/Family Discounts

2 or 3 person teams will receive a 10 percent discount per person and 4 or more person teams will receive a 20 percent discount per person. Discounts will be given during the registration process. A combined runner and walker team should register as runners.

Team Captain Registration Process

The Team Captain will have to fill out information as the Captain and as a member of the roster.

Timing Chips

Only runners will receive a timing chip in their race packet. If a walker wants a chip time sign up as a runner.

Children's Pilgrim Dash

Entry Fee is $10 per child. The dash will be run in four heats...4 and under, 5-6, 7-8, and 9-10. It will be run between at about 10:15 AM. All Dashers will receive a T-Shirt.

Guarantee Date for T-shirts

T-shirts will be not guaranteed if registration is after November 14.

Dogs and Strollers

Dogs will not be allowed at this event. Strollers will not be allowed in the 5K Run, but can be used in the 5K Walk.

Parking

Runners, Walkers, and Volunteers can park in the Notre Dame de Sion parking lot. Access is from Locust St. in the 3800 block. Be aware that access will be closed at 8:45 am and cars will not be allowed to leave until about 9:30 am since the lot is inside the race course. Parking is also available in the parking structure just south of Armour Blvd on Gillham Rd. Access will be from Gillham Rd.

Additional Information

There will be awards for the overall male and female winner and for the male and female Master's winners. There will also be medals for first, second, and third place for male and female age divisions.
