Brief Description

The 3rd Annual Rooney's 5K & Kids' Mile is a fun family event for the serious and not so serious runner. The event will be held on the roads of Abacoa Town Center and Central Blvd. in Jupiter. New thus year! A timed & scored Kids' Mile. In just two years, the event has grown to more than 900 runners. Everyone had a great race and joined us after the run for a great breakfast.

Directions

Rooney's Public House is located in the heart of Abacoa Town Center. Donald Ross Road is the closest exit on I-95. Head north on Parkside or Central Blvd. From Parkside, go right on University, on Central make a left on University. Rooney's is less than two blocks from the Amphitheater

Charities

The Rooney's Abacoa 5K will benefit two wonderful local charities, Autism Project of Palm Beach County & FAU Honors College.

Friday Night Sign Up at Rooney's Abacoa

Come join us Friday, April 9th at the Rooney's Public House in Abacoa. Sign up for the race and grab your number and t-shirt or come by and pick up your number and t-shirt. Either way, all you need to do on Race Day is collect your AccuChip Timing Chip and head to the start line! Registration fees on Friday, April 9th are: $25 General, $15 Students, $7 Kids' Mile

Online Registration Closes at Midnight - April 8th

Your final opportunity to register online will conclude at midnight on the 8th. You can join us on Friday night from 6-8pm at Rooney's Abacoa or sign up Race Morning starting at 6am

Additional Information

The 5K will start at 7:30 am followed by the Kids' Mile at 8:15 am. Just prior to the Awards, Rooney's will host their 3rd Annual "Beer Run", a challenge of speed and steady hands. This event does not require drinking the "beer", but why waste it?!! Rooney's invites all runners and special guests to join them for their signature Irish Breakfast.
