Brief Description

Start the spring season with a 5K fun run and be cheered along the way by village residents. We feel that our participants, and cheering section, shouldn’t have to get up at Oh-Dark-Thirty to enjoy this run, so it starts at 0930. The course is a loop around two schools and our Hike and Bike Trail. Following the event, a fun party is planned under the covered pavilion at Clark Henry Park!

Race Information

The run is sanctioned by USA Track & Field. We will not be using Timing Chips for this race as previously mentioned

Free Parking

Free race day parking will be available at Post Elementary, a very short walk from Clark Henry Park. See map for details. Follow the dotted lines on the map to the parking lot. The parking lot will be closed at 9:00 AM in order to prepare for the run

Registration

Online registration here on Active is the only way to enter our fun run. There will not be any race day registration at the event.

Beneficiaries

Veterans from American Legion Post 324, (the Jersey Village post) are conducting this run. Beneficiaries of the event are all local organizations our Post supports, including: Texas Boys State, The National High School Oratorical Contest, Cy-Fair JROTC cadets, the Wounded Warrior project, and more. Pre-Race Packet

You can pick up your race packet the morning of the run. We will have tables at Post Elementary parking lot with your bib and race packet. The tables will be ready by 0815, please plan on picking up your packet not later than 0830 to avoid a backlog. Registrations after Mar 20 may not receive a 5K tee shirt.

Additional Information

Children Run Free! If both parents register, their children 12 and under are free. For increased safety, children must run with their parents. We are sorry that we cannot provide a tee shirt to children who participant with their parents.
