A 5K race and 3K walk on mostly paved park paths ( a few are hard packed gravel ) and Liberty Walk. Terrific views of the Statue of Liberty and the NYC skyline. Toss in a run for the kids; what could be better? Great amenities, kids’ activities and the essential2life Fair brought to you by the Chemistry Council is just part of what's in store. Lots of activities for the whole family. Although Hurricane Sandy caused substantial damage to Liberty State Park, we have a new 5K course.
Proceeds from the essential2life 5k will support your local American Red Cross chapter based on your zip code. The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization led by volunteers that provides relief to victims of disaster and helps people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.
