Operation Net is a growing non-profit organization that distributes mosquito nets throughout Uganda, Africa and Haiti. Mosquito nets are the key in preventing a deadly disease called malaria. Malaria is the leading cause of childhood deaths in Africa. In Africa a child dies every 30 seconds due to malaria. By joining Operation Net and running in the Mosquito Stomp 5K you are ensuring that at least two children or adults receive a life-saving mosquito net... and therefore, saving someone's life.

The Mosquito Stomp 5K will be timed by the Greensboro Running Club and is being sponsored by Cross-Eyed Ministry, the YMCA, and others. Awards and prizes will be given to top finishers. Refreshments and raffle following race.
