About the Race

This is a 5K Fun Run/Walk. Entry fee includes admission to the post-race BBQ. It's a great conditioning event for runners and a fun day for families!

About Matt

Matt Collura is a 28 year old resident of Monroe Township, NJ and a lifelong runner. In March 2011, he suffered severe brain trauma in a snowboarding accident and has spent the past 18 months working on his recovery. Last year, a group of friends and family organized this race to raise Matt's spirits and to help support his recovery. Matt is using the funds to receive extra hours of physical therapy and purchase equipment that helps him work towards his ultimate goal of walking again.

Fundraising

Your entry fee will go towards Matt's fundraising campaign on HelpHopeLive.org. HelpHopeLive is a nonprofit that helps overcome financial barriers related to transplant or catastrophic injuries via fundraising.

Additional Information

Prizes will be awarded to the top male and top female runners.
