Brief Description

The premier March Mudness Mud Run, offers the ultimate in muddy competition. This one-of-a-kind Mud Run course winds through the old lion country safari pits and crevices with surprises around every corner. Equipped with new twists and turns, the 5 Mile and 5K is an out-and-back course loop that takes you through bunkers, trenches, tires, logs & deep pits. Run through the jungle, swamp and desert having fun and getting muddy!

5 Star Generation

The 5 Star Generation is a community of youth seeking to acquire knowledge, accomplish service, and accelerate change in their world. Their GOAL is to become, inspire, and engage Generations Of Accomplished Leaders. Join the Revolution! Our March Mudness Mud Run will raise money for needed funds for Boys & Girls Club, YMCA, and local youth athletic clubs.

Schedule

5K Mud Run – 9:00 a.m. (Wave Start); 5 Mile Mud Run - 10:00 a.m. (Wave Start); Kids Mud Run – 11:45 p.m. (Wave Start); Registration & T-shirt pick-up opens at 7:00 a.m.

Entry Fees

5 MILE MUD RUN: $40 until March 1; 5K MUD RUN: $30 until March 1; KIDS MUD RUN: $20 until March 1

Teams

Teams of 5 or more are permitted. Only teams of 5 are eligible for awards. 1. Captain must come in and create their team name FIRST (Just the team name), Click on the CREATE TEAM BUTTON. 2. After creating your team, you must come back into registration, click on the “Register Now “ button, select your team from the drop down menu, and complete/pay registration. 3. After creating your team name and registering, notify each your team members to register aunder your team name.

Rules

Minimum age for participating in the 5 Mile is 15 years old; Minimum Age for the 5K is 11 years old. Events are held rain or shine. Sorry, there are no race refunds and race numbers are non-transferable - only you can wear your race number. Liability waiver must be signed by all participants and on file before you receive a race number.

Spectators

Sorry, no dogs, strollers or baby joggers or children under the age of 10 are allowed on the 5 Mile and 5K Mud Run course. However, all are allowed at the race site.

Directions

From I-5 and I-405, exit Irvine Center Drive and go west to the Verizon Amphitheater and Wilds River Park parking lot. Follow “RACE EVENT” signs to the race site.

Age Groups

Age groups are 11-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69

Attractions

ALL 5 Mile and 5K runners will receive a commemorative race T-Shirt. Please join us for a great health & fitness expo with over 30 vendors, coupons, goody bags, & many other giveaways. Lots of fun and games, playing off the well-known MARCH MADNESS & NCAA Basketball Tournament, Superbowl, World Cup, World Series, ect. The youth mud run is designed for those 10 & under who just want to be a part of the fun, they will embark upon the main obstacle course & final mud pit.

Additional Information

The event will benefit the following youth organizations: Boy's & Girls Club, YMCA, and Youth athletics throughout Orange County.
