Brief Description

The Labor Day “Challenge for Children” race is to support the children of the Ignacio and Bayfield communities. The current Head Start building donated to the Head Start and Early Head Start Programs by the Southern Ute Indian Tribe is scheduled to be torn down and a new building built on another lot owned by the Tribe. We are hosting this race to supplement the building costs.

Additional Information

There will be awards for Female 5k, Male 5k, Female 10k, Male 10k in the following age groups: U12, 12-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
