Fees

5K Run/Walk $20 early, $25 race day. 1 Mile Fun Walk $10 early, $15 race day. $35 family rate, $40 race day. Late registration fees begin 9/21/10.

Brief Description

This is a great event for all to enjoy and to make a difference in caring for our local Wildlife in need! Following the event prizes awarded with refreshments and an opportunity to see the nature center's Wildlife Ambassadors up close and personal. Bring your camera!

Proceeds

Proceeds from this event will help provide care to over 2000 injured & orphaned wild animals that are brought to the Howell Nature Center each year.

Race Day Registration

Race day registration will open at 8:30 AM.

Course

This outdoor course winds through the Howell Conference and Nature Center nature trails & roads located on the center’s 280 acres of woodlands and wildlife.

5K Run & Walk Awards

Run Awards: Overall and Masters male and female, and top three (3) finishers in age groups: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over. Walk: Top three Overall male and female finishers.

Timing & Results

The race will be timed using the ChronoTrack Timing System, featuring the new B-tag. The timing tag remains attached to your race number and does not need to be returned at the finish line.
