Topics will include the 2012 Olympics Marathon Trials medical coverage, sudden death in marathon runners, technological innovations in medical care at the marathon, building a medical infrastructure, hydration illness, providing care at ultra events, and more.
Individuals who have purchased a U.S. Olympic Trials and/or Chevron Houston Marathon or Aramco Half Marathon "Package" receive a discounted meeting rate. The package must be purchased first (and a password will then be provided to register for $175).
A block of rooms has been reserved at the DoubleTree hotel at 400 Dallas Street. The rate is $159, plus taxes. A link to reserve a room within the block will be sent to you in the meeting registration confirmation message.
A processing fee is added at the checkout. ARRMS/AMAA members can enroll in Active Advantage, an Active.com membership, for FREE and pay a discounted processing fee. See the AMAA website for details (under "AMAA Membership" on the home page).
Refunds will be provided, less an administrative fee of $20, for cancellations made prior to January 1, 2012.
