Brief Description

Family 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run/Youth Mile on the beautiful Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. Enjoy the sunrise at the beach as you run/walk this fast and flat 3.1 mile USATF certified 5K course, professionally managed by Split Second Timing, Inc.

Additional Information

The goal of the 5K is to encourage good health and wellness habits in our children, to provide an opportunity for families to enjoy an outdoor fitness event together, and to raise money to support our schools.  All of the proceeds will go to support Beachside Montessori Village and other magnet programs in Broward County. 5K Run/Walk starts at 7:30am. Youth Mile starts at 8:30am. Kids Fun Run starts at 8:40am. Awards for top 3 Overall Male and Female as well as awards for the top 3 Male and Female finishers in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15–19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and over. All adults that are pre-registered by January 25th, are guaranteed a race T-shirt. Kid’s Fun Run and Youth Mile participants will receive a finisher’s medal, but not a T-shirt. Please note, the Kid's Fun Run and Youth Mile are untimed events.
