Brief Description

This is a benefit for the Herington Recreation Commission. The monies raised by this event will go to help with repairs needed to the baseball diamonds and concession stand. Baseball is very important to our youth in our town. The fees collected during baseball season cover the child's t-shirt, equipment, umpires, items needed for the concession stand, ect... There is nothing left over at the end of the season for repairs or upgrades.

Additional Information

The 5K will begin at 10:00 am and the walk will begin at 10:00 am. The Kid's Fun run will start as soon as the last runner of the 5K crosses the finish line. Day of registration and packet pick up will begin at 8:00 am. and will end at 9:30 am. Packet pick up will be in the gym which is located on the north side of the building. There will be lockers for you to put your items during the event. Please bring your own lock as we are not responsible for items left unattended.

Participants registered by March 26, 2011 are guaranteed a t-shirt. Everyone will receive a participation ribbon. Only the 5K participants will receive a metal. Age divisions are as follows: 18 and under, 19 - 30, 31 - 40, 41 - 50, 50 and over.

There will be a runner's snack table that will be available prior to the race and after.

This event will go no matter the weather conditions!!!
