The Course is USATF Certified:
The race starts in front of Heath City Hall heading north on Laurence (FM 740), turn L at the 4-way stop (FM 740), turn L on street that runs along the south side of Rockwall Heath High, turn L on Chris Cuny Pkwy., turn R on Smirl, L on Terry , L on Larry, and L on Hubbard. The trail crosses over Smirl/Bois D'Arc turning R, picking up the Heath Trail System and follows the trail around Towne Center Park. Finish line is behind Heath City Hall in the park.
Directions:
From I-30, exit FM 740, Ridge Rd, go south for 2.5 mi to 3-way stop, at junction with FM 1140, turn left; continue south on FM 740 for 2 mi to 4-way stop, turn right (still FM 740), parking at Heath City Hall and Amy Parks-Heath Elementary. From US 80, exit FM 460 (Clements Dr) at Knox Fuel, proceed north for 1 mi to stop sign, turn left and follow FM 740 north for 4.6 mi to 4-way stop in Heath, turn right on Laurence, parking at Heath City Hall or Amy Parks-Heath Elementary.
