Brief Description

This race will be on a road course around the campus of Jeff Davis High School in Hazlehurst, GA. The proceeds will go to the Jeff Davis Swim Team.

Starting Gun

1 Mile fun run/walk: 8 a.m. 5k Run: 9 a.m. Please arrive at the Jeff Davis High School Gym before the starting time for your race to make sure you have time to sign in and get your race number.

Race Day Registration

If you miss the online sign up, race-day registration is available starting at 7:30 a.m. in the Jeff Davis High School gym. The price will increase to $20 for all participants. Please make sure to arrive early to allow for time race-day registration. Also, T-shirts are only guaranteed for pre-registered runners

Prizes

Medals provided to top 3 runners in each age division for each event. Trophies to top overall female runner and top overall male runner in 5k. Free T-shirts are guaranteed to all pre-registered runners.

Age Groups:

Children 4 and under, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-15, 16-18.

Adults 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.

Course Description

This is a very flat, paved course. It's perfect for runners aiming for a personal record.

Additional Information

There will be race day registration starting at 7:30 a.m. for $20. All runners should meet at Jeff Davis High School gym for check– in, registration, and t-shirt pick up starting at 7:30 a.m. Medals provided to top 3 runners in each age division for each event. Trophies to top overall female runner and top overall male runner in 5k. Results will be posted on Active.com. A concession stand will be provided throughout the race in the gym. A silent auction and inflatables will also be on site. Face Painting will be available. This event is open to runners of all ages and ability levels.
