Brief Description

USAT sanctioned event. Great early season test!! Very Challenging and beautiful bike course with many hills. Beginning at North Carroll High School in Hampstead, Md, with access to restrooms and heat.

Additional Information

Age group and overall awards. Custom t-shirt and post race awards w/ food, fruit, and beverages. No refunds. Race will proceed rain or shine. In the event that it is not possible to have race, entry fee will be transferred to another Endurance Maryland Event. Duathlon is $70 until 1/31/13, $75 until 3/15/13. Duathlon relay is $95 until 1/31/13, $100 until 3/15/13. 5k is $35 until 1/31/13, $40 until 3/15/13. Can register on March 15th for all events during packet pick-up at The YMCA of Carroll County, 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. if spots are still available. There is also packet pick-up on race day, March 16, 2012, from 5:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. at race site. Race day registration is not currently available.

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required.
