The Wellness in the Woods running and walking series brings together individuals, families, communities and organizations for healthy and fun activity and social connectedness at the Metro Parks. This race will be held on paved trail surfaces. Advanced registration fees are $20 for 2 mile, $25 for 5k and $35 for 10k. Race day registration fees are $25 for 2 mile, $35 for 5k and $45 for 10k. Children under 12 years and retired seniors 60 & over can participate for free. A paid adult guardian must participate for children under 12 to participate in each park event. All participants will receive a series organic soft-spun cotton shirt vs. a conventional cotton t-shirts or chemically-produced polyester technical shirt. The top five overall finishers by gender for each distance will receive a commemorative award. All athletes must be present to receive awards.
