Brief Description

Both the half marathon and 10k are located inside Scenic Oak Ridge Prairie. The courses are primarily on grass and wooded trails with a short distance on paved biked trail. They course is flat and shaded in areas for a smooth and fun trail half marathon experience. The course loops around a small lake and just for fun we added on small hill to keep everyone honest. After all, it is not any fun if you don't run up at least one hill. (But it is a small one..I promise!)

Race Day

Registration and packet pickup will start at 7:00 am and continue until 7:30 am. The races will start at 8:00 am. Also we will not be able to allow you to switch races due to the price differences. There is one exception to that. If you don’t feel up to running the full half you can run the 10K. Just let us know before the day of the race. We will not be able to change it on race day. Unfortunately there will be no refunds. We find this to be an industry standard.
