Brief Description

The Mud Mile is a celebration of running and getting really dirty. There are no formal entry fees or results. These funds ($5.) will be applied to the legendary post race party. The fun starts about one hour before low tide and continues for many hours after.

Additional Information

Take the ferry to Great Cranberry Island from either Northeast Harbor or Southwest harbor. After arriving go straight down the length of the Main Rd (2 miles) to Murches. The mudflats will be on your left. Bicycles are welcome on the ferries and island and are recommended transportation.
