Additional Information

5K Run/Walk:

This 5k run/walk is the perfect tour of Wooldridge Creek Winery. It starts on a gravel road, which leads you to single track on your way to circumnavigating the entire winery! You weave cross-country style around rows and rows of some of the tastiest grapes in Southern Oregon (don’t worry you’ll be able to taste them, as both yummy grapes and wine later in the run). After you’ve toured the northern side of the winery, you’ll come back and see the Southern half as well. Make sure to take in all of the beautiful views of both neighboring vineyards and valleys!

Half Marathon Run:

The first 3 miles lead you cross-country style around Wooldridge Creek Winery. Leaving the winery, you travel a paved road (.5 mi) with views of the surrounding valleys and neighboring vineyards to the Enchanted Forest. Enjoy switch backs and a little climbing, weaving the beautiful single track which is canopied by moss-covered towering Ponderosa Pines, Douglas Firs, Madrones, Oaks and Maples, where only enchanted creatures can survive. After a welcoming dose of shade you will pop out to flowing meadows before heading back to the forest. Next you will run along Slagle Creek’s lush greenery of ferns, vines and old-growth maples, which branch out, tunneling you through this picturesque section. This will lead you up to the next aid station, where mythical creatures will be ready to magically give you energy and send you on your way (mile 7). As you enter the Twilight Gardens, you pass under an old oak tree whose trunk has arched over making an arbor leading to even more fun trails. After the first loop and back to the aid station (mile 9) we take you through some more of what the Enchanted Forest has to offer. Meandering through the green haven of forest, Borderline trail brings you back to the Twilight Gardens and swings you around to the Felton trail, which is your ticket back to the celebration that awaits. You pass one more aid station (mile 12) saying goodbye to the Enchanted Forest, on to the road back to the winery where the crowds will be cheering you in!

Finish Line Celebration at the Winery:

Both races finish with you flying through the last rows of Gewurztraminer where you will be ready to slip off your shoes, put up your feet and enjoy some tasty wine and music soaking in the sun and taking in the vast views at Wooldridge Creek Winery!
