Proceeds from this event will benefit Genesys Hospice which provides quality, comprehensive care and support to those living with a terminal illness.
Packet pick-up will be on 9/23/11 from noon to 6:00 PM and beginning at 8:30 AM on 9/24/11. Late Registration will begin at 8:30 AM on 9/24/2011, at the Genesys Athletic Club (on the Health Park campus).
The outdoor course winds through the Mayapple and Heron nature trails, located on Health Park's 478 acres of woodlands and wildlife. The indoor kids fitness run will be in the Genesys Athletic Club indoor track.
The 5K Run competition starts at 10:00 AM, followed by the 5K Walk at 10:05 AM.One mile fitness run which will start at 10:45 AM, and an indoor kids fitness fun run (1/4 mile) will start at 11:10 AM.
The top three finishers in each adult age group will receive awards; all participants of the kids races will receive a finishers award.
On the day of the race, childcare is available for children ages 2 - 10 years old; advance registration is required by calling (810) 606-7534.
